1. Scope of Services

 

 

A&B Electrical Services provides residential and commercial electrical services, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, service upgrades, lighting, panel work, and related electrical services. All work is performed in accordance with applicable local and national electrical codes.

 

 

 

 

2. Estimates and Pricing

 

 

All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time of inspection or customer-provided details. Estimates are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions including, but not limited to:

 

  • Hidden wiring

  • Structural obstructions

  • Code violations

  • Permit requirements

  • Equipment failure

  • Material cost increases

 

 

Any additional work required beyond the original scope may result in additional charges.

 

 

 

 

3. Payment Terms

 

 

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to require deposits prior to scheduling certain services or ordering materials.

 

Late payments may be subject to:

 

  • Service fees

  • Interest charges

4. Permits and Inspections

 

 

Unless otherwise stated in writing, it is the responsibility of the customer to request or confirm whether permits and inspections are required. If permits are requested by the customer, additional charges may apply for permit acquisition, coordination, and inspection scheduling.

 

 

 

 

5. Customer Responsibilities

 

 

The customer agrees to:

 

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area

  • Disclose any known hazards or prior electrical issues

  • Ensure pets and personal belongings are secured

  • Provide accurate information regarding requested services

 

 

Failure to do so may result in delays or additional service charges.

 

 

 

 

6. Scheduling and Cancellations

 

 

Scheduled appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a service call fee.

 

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to emergencies, weather conditions, or unforeseen operational circumstances.

 

 

 

 

7. Warranty Disclaimer

 

 

We warrant workmanship for a limited period following service completion. This warranty does not cover:

 

  • Pre-existing conditions

  • Customer-supplied materials

  • Improper use or modifications by others

  • Acts of nature or external damage

 

 

Manufacturer warranties apply to installed materials where applicable.

 

 

 

 

8. Limitation of Liability

 

 

A&B Electrical Services shall not be held liable for:

 

  • Pre-existing electrical conditions

  • Code violations not visible at time of service

  • Damage caused by aging infrastructure
